Memorandum
Attached is a resolution to approve the request from Ann Arbor Senior Living Owner, LLC for new Continuing Care Retirement Center License, located at 2830 S. Main Street. Ann Arbor Senior Living Owner, LLC is applying for a New Continuing Care Retirement Center liquor license, a new SDM liquor license, Sunday Sales Permits (AM & PM), Dance Entertainment Permit, Outdoor Service Permit and Specific Purpose Permit (for operation of Continuing Care Retirement Center). Approval of the permit would allow this new senior facility to enhance their wide array of amenities available to residents and their guests, including various art, music, educational opportunities, wine tastings, cooking demonstrations, book clubs, yoga and exercise classes. Meals would be available three times per day, seven days per week, and a happy hour with low-key music will be being offered throughout the week to residents and their guests.

The Police, Planning and Development, Treasurer, Fire Services and the Council Liquor License Review Committee approved the application. There are no delinquent property taxes, all application fees are paid and there are no objections from City Staff.
