Memorandum
The attached resolution authorizes the summary publication of Ordinance No. 19-15. The City Charter allows summary publication of ordinances that are in excess of 500 words in length. Approval of this resolution will eliminate the cost of publishing the entire ordinance in the notice.

Whereas, Section 7.4 of the City Charter authorizes the publication by summary of ordinances over 500 words in length;
RESOLVED, That the publication of Ordinance No. 19-15 shall be by the following summary:
Ordinance No. 19-15 amends Sections 5.15 (Table 5-15), 5.16.3 and 5.16.7 to create three new land uses (temporary outdoor activities, short term car storage, medium term car storage), provide use specific standards for each new use, and allow the uses as permitted or special exceptions in the P (Parking) district.
The effective date of the Ordinance is 10 days after publication.
The Ordinance will be available in the Office of the City Clerk (301 E. Huron, Ann Arbor, Michigan) starting on June 4, 2019.
