The 5K portion of the event is a new route.  The applicant has informed the neighborhood association chair as well as impacted businesses in the area of this change and has obtained their support.

The streets will open as soon as safely possible.  Participants will be directed to sidewalks as the race nears its end.

As in previous years, the event will serve registered runners refreshments at the end of the race.  As in previous years, there will be a beer tent for which a temporary liquor license will be required.  The Club will use the Ann Street at N. Main Street surface parking lot for this purpose.

The sponsor agrees to obtain all necessary permits, to provide evidence of proper liability insurance as required, to comply with all City regulations governing the use of the streets, and will reimburse the City for all event expenses.

Official notification of the street closings will be provided through the City’s website, GovDelivery, neighborhood associations and the applicant’s use of press releases, runner websites and social media.  A marshal plan will be submitted to City staff prior to the event to help the residents plan to navigate through the closures.

This event has been coordinated with all relevant City service areas for the purposes of traffic control and for the protection of the health and safety of the participants and the general public.
