Memorandum
In 1931, City Council accepted a grant of easement from Jessie E. Bourquin for a sanitary sewer through a large parcel north of Geddes Road, which includes the property now known as 485 Rock Creek Drive. The house on 485 Rock Creek was built on top of the sanitary sewer pipe and that part of the pipe has now failed. This easement allows the City to abandon that part of the pipe and fill it with grout, and reroute the pipe around the house in a new easement.

Per the terms of the easement, once the existing pipe is grouted, staff will bring forward a resolution releasing the old easement through 485 Rock Creek Drive.

Acceptance of the new sanitary sewer easement are recommended.

Whereas, Robert M. Howe, Joan F. Howe and Julie Stewart, Trustees of the Robert M. Howe and Joan F. Howe Trust dated October 19, 2016, have signed a grant of easement for sanitary sewer, described as:
