Whereas, The Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor (AAPS) is the owner of property commonly known as the Balas Administration Building at 2555 South State Street, described in Liber 1804, Page 342 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and
Whereas, AAPS has signed a grant of easement for water mains and appurtenances, described as:
A variable width water main easement over the above described Parcel No. 09-12-04-200-029, being lands in the Northwest 1/4 of Section 4, Town 3 South, Range 6 East, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, said easement being more particularly described as: Commencing at the West 1/4 Corner of said Section 4; thence along the West line of said Section 4, N00°37'30"W, 398.28 feet; thence S89°20'35"W, 2.68 feet to the East line of State Street (variable width); thence along said East line N05°42'50"W, 105.87 feet; thence continuing along said East line N01°00'40"E, 194.63 feet; thence N89°22'30"E, 305.91 feet; thence S89°06'40"E, 254.61 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N00°00'30"W, 158.24 feet; thence S89°09'37"E, 40.00 feet; thence S00°00'30"E, 172.91 feet; thence S44°43'50"W, 35.21 feet; thence N89°09'00"W, 15.22 feet; thence N00°00'30"W, 40.05 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; Containing ±7,617 square feet of land.
RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby accept this grant of easement.
