Resolution to Appoint Stephen Brown to the Environmental Commission

Body

Whereas, The ordinance governing appointments to the Environmental Commission requires the City Councilmembers currently serving on the Environmental Commission to nominate citizen appointments to the Commission;

Whereas, The ordinance requires the City Council to confirm citizen appointments to the Commission;

Whereas, Veronica Hannah, one of the members nominated and appointed by the City Council resigned effective June 27, 2018; and

Whereas, Councilmember Chip Smith has nominated Stephen Brown to serve on the Environmental Commission;

RESOLVED, That the nomination of Stephen Brown to the Environmental Commission be confirmed and that Stephen Brown be appointed to serve a partial term ending on May 31, 2019
