Memorandum
Attached for your review and approval is Resolution No. 3 establishing the date for the Public Hearing on the Federal Blvd. Commerce Dr. Green Rd. Sidewalk Special Assessment District No. 50, File No. 2017-026.

The improvement will include the construction of new sidewalks on the north side of Federal Boulevard from West Stadium Boulevard to Commerce Drive extending along the north side of Commerce Drive from Federal Boulevard to connect with existing sidewalk on the north side of Commerce Drive. The special assessment district also included the construction of new sidewalks on the east side of Green Road from the south end of Burbank Drive to the north end of Burbank Drive. The sidewalks are part of the City's sidewalk gap initiative.

Whereas, The City Council had directed the City Assessor to prepare a Special Assessment Roll for the purpose of defraying that part of the cost of the following described public improvement to be defrayed by Special Assessment: New sidewalks on the east side of Green Road from the south intersection of Burbank Drive to the North intersection of Burbank Drive and on the north side of Federal Blvd. and Commerce Drive from West Stadium Blvd. to that portion of Commerce Drive that has sidewalks. Federal Commerce Green Sidewalk Gap Project; Sidewalk Special Assessment District No. 50, File No. 2017-026;

Whereas, The City Assessor has prepared said Special Assessment Roll and has the same on file in the Assessor's office with his certificate attached thereto; and

Whereas, The Michigan Tax Tribunal requires appearance and protest at the public hearing in order to appeal the amount of the special assessment, if an appeal should be...
