Attached for your consideration is a request from Blum Production LLC- d/b/a Bl?m Meadworks for a New Small Wine-Maker Liquor License and MLCC Outdoor Service, Entertainment, and Dance Permits to be Located at 100 S Fourth Avenue, Suite 110.

The Applicant has indicated that it plans to ferment honey wine (mead) and cider on the premises and conduct sales of the product for on- and off-premise consumption. The Applicant also plans to have a small variety of food offerings and will allow people to bring in pre-purchased food. The Applicant indicates it may occasionally have small public or private events that include live music, film viewings, etc., which may involve dancing/music but that will not be the primary focus of the business. The Applicant plans to begin with minimal hours and plans its maximum public schedule to be seven days a week, 11am until midnight, except the business will open at noon on Sundays .

The Police, Planning and Development, Treasurer and Fire Services approved the application. There are no delinquent property taxes, all application fees are paid and the City Staff has no objections.

City Staff requests Council to specify that this resolution does not constitute City approval or disapproval of any plans for outdoor seating that are provided to date to City Staff and to the MLCC for an MLCC Outdoor Service permit. Any such approval will require the Applicant to apply for a sidewalk occupancy permit, which the City may grant or deny in the usual course of business.
