Resolution to Approve the Flannery Annexation, 0.76 Acre, 2883 Stone School Road (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 7 Yeas and 0 Nays)
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this property from Pittsfield Township into the City. The property is within the City’s water and sewer service area, and the current use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan. Council action on the proposed R1D (Single Family Dwelling District) zoning will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of October 3, 2017, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Pittsfield and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Patrick & Candace Flannery are the owners of said property; and
Whereas, It is the desire of Patrick & Candace Flannery to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Public Act 279 of 1909 or Public Act 359 1947 of the State of Michigan, as amended;
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Pittsfield, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:
