Resolution to Release an Easement for Sanitary and Storm Sewers and Water Main Records at Liber 646, Page 402 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
Approval of this resolution releases the City’s rights in the easement for sanitary sewer, storm sewer and water main granted in the Indenture from F. Everett Ross and Iva L. Ross to the City of Ann Arbor dated December 9th, 1953 and recorded January 9, 1954 in Liber 646, page 402, Washtenaw County Records.
On September 15, 2017, the City received a request that the easement be removed from Paul R. Robinson and Janice S. Robinson, representatives of “Once Upon a Childhood” LLC that currently owns the property at 1801 Miller Avenue. City Public Services staff investigated the site with a field crew and confirmed that the 12 inch heading at 1801 Miller had been abandoned and that the easement is not necessary for any current or future City needs.
Release of the easement is recommended.

RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby releases all rights granted by the easement recorded at Liber 646, Page 402 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and
RESOLVED, That an appropriate instrument evidencing this release be recorded at the Washtenaw County Register of Deeds as soon as practicable following approval of this resolution.
