Memorandum
This property was formerly part of the old jail site owned by the County. Staff believes the area was intended to be transferred to the City years ago along with other deeds. However, a survey revealed this property had not been included in prior deeds. This property is part of the area currently used for access to the surface parking lots at the corner of North Main and Ann and beneath the Ann-Ashley structure.
This quitclaim deed is conveyed without cost to the City. Acceptance of this deed is recommended.

A part of Lot 5 and the Alley running Northerly and Southerly across the North 1/2 of Block 1 North of Huron Street, Range 3 East, "Original Plat of the Village of Ann Arbor" according to the plat thereof as recorded in Transcripts, Pages 152 and 153, Washtenaw County Records, described as:
