LOCC Resolution to Recommend that City Council Seek an Attorney General Opinion

At its October 11, 2017 meeting, the Local Officers Compensation Commission passed the following resolution.
Body
The Local Officers Compensation Commission recommends to City Council that City Council seek an Attorney General opinion on whether this Local Officers Compensation Commission may, in addition to meeting on the statutorily required odd years, also meet in the even years for purposes including but not limited to working sessions, gathering additional information, or having more public discourse; and secondly, that the Attorney General comment in addition on any restrictions, requirements, or mandates that would apply to a meeting in an even year, if authorized.
