Resolution Supporting and Authorizing Comments to the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality Regarding Proposed Part 201 Generic Cleanup Criteria
Memorandum
The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) is proposing new Part 201 Generic Cleanup Criteria, and is holding a public hearing on those proposed criteria on September 12, 2016. The Mayor and City Council wish to provide comments regarding the proposed cleanup criteria, which comments have been incorporated into the attached letter to the Director of the MDEQ.

Whereas, The Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) is proposing new Part 201 Generic Cleanup Criteria;
Whereas, The City Council wishes to provide comments regarding the proposed cleanup criteria; and
Whereas, The City Council supports and agrees with the comments in the attached letter;
RESOLVED, That the Mayor be authorized to submit the attached letter to the MDEQ as the City of Ann Arbor’s comments on the proposed Part 201 Generic Cleanup Criteria.
