Memorandum
Attached for your review and approval is a resolution to establish the estimated cost and distribution for new the sidewalk to be constructed as part of the Stone School Road Sidewalk Project (Sidewalk District #47). In accordance with the City's Non-Motorized Plan and Complete Streets approach, it is proposed to install a new sidewalk to close gaps and provide a continuous pedestrian connection along the west side of Stone School Road from Birch Hollow Drive to Packard Road. The overall project also includes the replacement of a deteriorated asphalt sidewalk on the west side of Stone School Road between Packard and Eisenhower.

Estimated Project Costs are as follows:

Construction Estimate + Contingency $181,610.00
Planning/Design $24,765.00
Const Eng/Project Admin/Inspection/Testing $33,020.00
Total Cost $239,395.00

This work will be included in the 2017 Stone School Road Sidewalk Project (Birch Hollow Drive to Packard Road). The total estimated cost of the project is $239,395 of which $145,288 will be paid from the Federal Surface Transportation Funds. The remaining local share of $94,107 will be paid for by a combination of special assessment, Parks Millage, General Fund, and Risk Management Funds. Below are the estimated Project Revenues:
