Attached for your review and consideration for approval, please find a resolution to authorize the award of a Professional Services Agreement with CTI and Associates, Inc. (CTI) for construction materials testing services in the amount of $111,400.00 for the Street Resurfacing - 2016 project.
This project consists of approximately nine major streets and fifteen local streets. The construction is scheduled for May through October 2016.
Six firms submitted proposals for the required construction materials testing services. Project Management staff evaluated the proposals and selected CTI based on their proposal, staff qualifications, past involvement with similar projects, and cost. CTI complies with the City of Ann Arbor Non-Discrimination and Living Wage Ordinances.
Services to be performed include all the required testing for soils, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete. Funds for the requested services are available in the project budget for the 2016 Street Resurfacing project.
