Memorandum
This resolution is to approve annexation of this property into the City, which is within the City’s water and sewer service area and is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan. It will come back for Council action on the zoning change to R1A (Single-Family Dwelling District) after the annexation process is complete. The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of August 5, 2008, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Ann Arbor and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;

Whereas, Ronald and Samantha Mucha are the owners of said property; and

Whereas, It is the desire of Ronald and Samantha Mucha to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 359 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan for the year 1947, as amended;

RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township of Ann Arbor and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:

Land in the Southwest ¼ of Section 35, Town 2 South, Range 6 East, Ann Arbor Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan, described as beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 44 of “Woodhaven Hills” according to the plat thereof as recorded in Liber 15 of Plats, Pages 31 and 32, Washtenaw County Records; thence N 01o11’29” W 162.30 feet (previously described as N 01o07’ W) along the West line of said Lot 44; thence S 88o58’06” W 33.00 feet (previously described as S 81o25’ W 33.28...
