Resolution Setting a Public Hearing on the Establishment of a Deer Management Program within the City of Ann Arbor

Memorandum

At the July 13, 2015 City Council working session, Mayor Taylor announced that the City would hold a public hearing and consider a resolution that directs the City Administrator to take action on a deer management plan.

Prior to holding that public hearing, the City must issue a public hearing notice.

Whereas, On August 17, 2015, City Council intends to consider a resolution that will establish the elements of a community-supported deer management plan;

Whereas, Prior to that consideration, the City Council wishes to ensure that all residents have had an opportunity to provide input into that plan and that the community supports the results;

RESOLVED, That City Council of the City of Ann Arbor hereby sets a public hearing for August 17, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as it may be convened in the City Council Chambers, 2^nd floor, Guy Larcom Municipal Building, 301 E. Huron St. to receive public comment on the proposed establishment and implementation of a deer management plan.
