The easement will be in a form negotiated by the City Administrator and City Attorney's Office. The legal description has been reviewed by the required City service areas. There is no compensation attached to this easement.
Approval of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, The City is the fee owner of real property adjacent to 116-120 W. Huron, described at Liber 74, Page 623 and Liber 2127, Page 531 of Deeds, Washtenaw County Records; and
Whereas, DTE Electric Company has requested an easement for the construction and maintenance of electrical utility service in the City's property adjacent to 116-120 W. Huron;
RESOLVED, That the City of Ann Arbor hereby approves a grant of easement to DTE Electric Company for the construction and maintenance of electrical utility service in the following location:
Commencing at the NW Corner of B1N, R3E, of the "Original Plat of the Village (now City) of Ann Arbor", as recorded in Transcripts, Pages 152 and 153, Washtenaw County Records, (Southeast Corner of West Ann and North Ashley Streets), thence N 89?59'30" E 123.15 feet along the South line of West Ann Street to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
thence N 89?59'30" E 10.00 feet along the South line of West Ann Street;
thence S 00?07'40" E 74.00 feet;
thence N 89?59'30" E 7.00 feet;
thence S 00?07'40" E 49.00 feet along the West line of Lot 8 of said Plat & the East line of the 16' wide Vacated Alley;
