Memorandum
The attached resolution requests approval of renewal of the Class C liquor license and permits held by Banfield, A.C., d/b/a Banfield Bar & Grill (Business I.D. 3579).

City Council had previously set an administrative hearing for March 4, 2015 on the City Treasurer's objection to renewal of the liquor license based on Section 9:79(1)(b) of the Ann Arbor City Code (delinquent personal property taxes and fees). On March 2, 2015, the City Treasurer confirmed the delinquent obligations were paid in full and he has withdrawn his objection to renewal.

Renewal of the liquor license is recommended.

Whereas, City Council set a hearing date for March 4, 2015, on the City Treasurer's objection to renewal of the liquor license and permits held by Banfield A.C., d/b/a Banfield Bar & Grill (Business I.D. 3579);

Whereas, The grounds for objection to the renewal was violation of Section 9:79(b), Chapter 109, Liquor, of the Ann Arbor City Code, being:

Failure to timely pay all personal property taxes and all real property and all other obligations due and payable to the City or have outstanding any personal property tax or real property tax or obligation due and payable to the City as of the date of the annual review.

Whereas, Prior to the date set for the administrative hearing on the City Treasurer's objection to renewal of the liquor license, Banfield's appeared and made payment in full of all delinquent obligations which were the basis of the Treasurer's objection;
