Whereas, The appointment of members of the Greenbelt Advisory Commission is a prerogative of the City Council;
Whereas, Stephanie Buttrey was previously appointed for a one-year term as a member at large, expiring June 30, 2014;
Whereas, Stephanie Buttrey has expressed an interest in continuing to serve on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission and would accept a reappointment to the Commission;
Whereas, The Greenbelt Advisory Commission recommends the reappointment of Stephanie Buttrey to the Commission; and
Whereas, Stephanie Buttrey was presented to City Council on January 20, 2015 for consideration for reappointment to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission;
RESOLVED, That Stephanie Buttrey be appointed to serve a new three-year term on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission, as a member-at-large, with a term date beginning July 1, 2014 and expiring June 30, 2017; and
RESOLVED, That the City Clerk notify Ms. Buttrey of this appointment.
