Memorandum from City Administrator - Schedule Update for Pedestrian Safety and Access Task Force

On November 17, 2013 City Council passed Resolution R-13-367 to appoint a Pedestrian Safety and Access Task Force which stated that the task force will submit its recommendations in the form of a report at the first Council meeting in February
2015.
On June 16, 2014 City Council passed Resolution R-14-218 to appropriate and approve a Professional Services Agreement with The Greenway Collaborative, Inc. to support the Pedestrian Safety and Access Task Force in their work efforts which began in July 2014 and are scheduled to continue through August 2015. Based on this probable timeline it is anticipated that the Pedestrian Safety and Access Task Force will be prepared to submit its recommendations in the form of a report at a Council meeting in the fall of 2015, rather than in February 2015 as stated in Resolution R-13-367.
