Title
Resolution to Approve a Professional Services Agreement with Materials Testing Consultants, Incorporated for Material Testing Services - Stone School Road Improvements Project ($97,720.00)
Memorandum
Attached for your consideration, please find a resolution to approve a Professional Services Agreement (PSA) with Materials Testing Consultants, Incorporated (MTC) in the amount of $97,720.00 for material testing services for the subject project.
Funding for this project is available in the approved FY 2015 Capital Budget as indicated in the Stone School Road Improvements project resolution.

In January of this year, the City received proposals in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) No. 884 from several material testing firms for the upcoming construction season's needed material testing work. The RFP had required each consultant to submit a statement of qualifications, fee schedule, and resumes of personnel that it proposed were qualified and available to work on our projects.
Based upon a review of the proposals, the fee schedule, and staffing plan it was decided that MTC was the most qualified firm to work on the Stone School Road Improvements Project and is recommended for approval.

MTC received Human Rights approval on June 9, 2014 and Living Wage approval on May 2, 2014.
