Memorandum
Approval of this resolution will allow annexation of this vacant property from Scio Township into the City.  The property is within the City's water and sewer service area, and the current use is consistent with the adjacent zoning, land uses and master plan.  Council action on the proposed R1C (Single Family Dwelling District) zoning will be scheduled after the annexation process is complete.
 
The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of May 6, 2014, recommended approval of the request.

Whereas, The territory hereinafter described is located in the Township of Scio and is adjacent to the corporate limits of the City of Ann Arbor;
Whereas, Kelly Anderson and Victoria Pebbles are the owners of said property; and
 
Whereas, It is the desire of Kelly Anderson and Victoria Pebbles to annex said territory to the City of Ann Arbor, pursuant to the provisions of Act 279 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan, as amended;
 
RESOLVED, That the following described lands and premises situated and being in the Township of Scio, Washtenaw County, Michigan, be detached from said Township and annexed to the City of Ann Arbor, to-wit:
 
Lot 38 of the Evergreens Subdivision, Scio Township, Washtenaw County, Michigan T2S-R5E
