Title
Housing Commission Annual Meeting Review of Mission and Amended and Restated By-Laws
Memorandum
The Housing Commission's fiscal year begins July 1st and ends June 30th of each year; and the Commission must review its Mission and By-laws annually. The AAHC is now entering its meeting agenda, minutes and resolutions on the City's Legistar system so that the meetings are in conformance with other city boards and so that the information is more accessible to the public.
The AAHC By-laws currently require the Board President to sign the minutes of each meeting. Legistar tracks all votes digitally which removes the need for and ability of the Board President to sign the minutes. In Legistar, the minutes are posted to the City's website showing a record of each vote.
