Resolution to Approve Bylaws of the Design Review Board
Memorandum
The Ann Arbor Design Review Board has not previously had bylaws and now recommends approval of the attached bylaws. The proposed bylaws were created and reviewed with the assistance of the City Attorney's Office. These bylaws were approved by the Design Review Board at its meeting of May 15, 2013. The bylaws have been reviewed by the City Attorney's Office, consistent with Council Resolution R-08-496.

Whereas, The Ann Arbor Design Review Board desires bylaws;
Whereas, City Council has passed a resolution, R-08-496, directing the City Attorney to review the bylaws of City boards and commissions and revise them for consistency and uniformity to the extent practicable while meeting the requirements of individual boards and commissions;
Whereas, The City Attorney has reviewed the proposed bylaws in accordance with City Council's resolution;
Whereas, The Ann Arbor Design Review Board approved the proposed bylaws at its meeting of May 15, 2013; and
Whereas, Resolution R-08-496 requires all proposed amendments and bylaws of City boards and commissions to be approved by City Council;
RESOLVED, That City Council approve the attached bylaws for the Ann Arbor Design Review Board.
