PROCLAMATION
In Appreciation of
Concordia University Football Team
October 7, 2013
WHEREAS, The Concordia University Football Team have dedicated themselves to volunteering in the assistance of the Ann Arbor Parks; and
WHEREAS, The Concordia University Football Team have worked with the GIVE 365 Volunteer Program at several of our recreation facilities and parks assisting with special events, facility maintenance and set up, and participating in our adopt-a-facility at Fuller Park Pool; and
WHEREAS, Their consistent participation with the GIVE 365 Volunteer Program has made a positive impact on the facility and park space as well as the customers with which they have interacted; and
WHEREAS, The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our parks.
NOW THEREFORE, I, John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of the Concordia University Football Team on October 7, 2013, in the City of Ann Arbor.
