Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept a grant of easement from the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority for water main to allow the extension of the current water main to facilitate service to the new bus storage facility at the AATA headquarters on South Industrial Highway.

The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.

Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, The Ann Arbor Transportation Authority (AATA), an Authority under the provisions of Act 55 of the Public Acts of Michigan of 1963, is the owner in fee of property located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, as described in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 21 of Plats, Pages 63 through 69; and

Whereas, AATA has duly authorized and delivered an easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw to the City for water main to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at the Southeasterly corner of Lot 21 “deKONING SUBDIVISION”, a subdivision of part of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 4, T3S, R6E, City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan as recorded in Liber 21 of Plats, Pages 63 through 69 inclusive, Washtenaw County Records; thence S87°43’00”W 274.49 feet along the Southerly line of said Lot 21 to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing along said Southerly line S87°43’00”W 40.00 feet; thence N02°08’19”W 13.86 feet; thence N18°22’12”W 191.74 feet; thence S71°39’55”W 80.12 feet; thence N74°10’20”W 47.97 feet; thence Northerly along the Easterly right-of-way line of the Ann Arbor Railroad 46.04 feet along the arc o...
