Resolution to Extend Councilmember Sabra Briere's Appointment to Planning Commission

Whereas, One position of the City of Ann Arbor Planning Commission ("Planning Commission") is reserved for a member of the Ann Arbor City Council ("Council representative");

Whereas, The City Council is vested with the power to appoint the Council representative to the Planning Commission;

Whereas, Councilmember Sabra Briere was appointed by Council Resolution R-12-541 on December 3, 2012;

Whereas, Councilmember Sabra Briere's term expires on June 30, 2013;

Whereas, Council is vested with the power to extend Councilmember Sabra Briere's appointment to the Planning Commission.

RESOLVED, That Councilmember Sabra Briere's appointment as the City Council representative to Planning Commission be extended until November 7, 2013.
