PROCLAMATION

In Appreciation of

Nicole Chardoul, Cristy Scoville Starkweather, and John Starkweather

April 1, 2013

WHEREAS,      Nicole Chardoul, Cristy Scoville Starkweather, and John Starkweather along with their neighbors have dedicated themselves to volunteering in the assistance of Huron Highland Park through the Adopt-A-Park program; and

WHEREAS,      Nicole Chardoul, Cristy Scoville Starkweather, and John Starkweather planted and expertly maintain beautiful edible gardens and over a dozen new trees; and

WHEREAS,      Nicole Chardoul, Cristy Scoville Starkweather, and John Starkweather have provided a voice for the neighborhood and improved the safety of the park and play areas ; and

WHEREAS,      The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our parks.

NOW THEREFORE, I, John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Nicole Chardoul, Cristy Scoville Starkweather, and John Starkweather on April 1, 2013, in the City of Ann Arbor.
