PROCLAMATION
In Appreciation of
Ann Sprunger and Janet Bower
January 22, 2013
WHEREAS, Ann Sprunger and Janet Bower have dedicated themselves to volunteering through the Adopt-A-Median program; and
WHEREAS, Ann Sprunger and Janet Bower have worked enthusiastically to improve the median on Liberty Street by spending countless hours weeding, planting, and mulching as well as organizing others to do so; and
WHEREAS, The City of Ann Arbor appreciates the tireless work of volunteers in assistance of our green spaces.
NOW THEREFORE, I, John Hieftje, Mayor of Ann Arbor, Michigan, in recognition of these personal and volunteer endeavors, conducted to the greater good of our community, do hereby proclaim a commemoration of Ann Sprunger and Janet Bower on January 22, 2013, in the City of Ann Arbor.
