Resolution to Appoint Patti Smith as a Member of the City of Ann Arbor Environmental Commission

Whereas, The appointment of members of the Environmental Commission is a prerogative of the City Council;
Whereas, There is currently a vacancy on the Environmental Commission due to the expiration of John Koupal's term;
Whereas, Patti Smith has expressed an interest in serving on the Environmental Commission; and
Whereas, The Environmental Commission will hold its next meeting on Thursday, December 6th 2012; and
RESOLVED, That Patti Smith be appointed to serve a three-year term on the Environmental Commission, filling a vacancy, beginning Tuesday, December 4th 2012 and expiring December 7th 2015; and
RESOLVED, That the City Clerk notify Ms Smith of this appointment.
