Whereas, The Ann Arbor City Council created the Sign Board of Appeals to hear variance and appeals from Chapter 61 (Signs and Outdoor Advertising);
Whereas, City Council has considered and approved amendments to Chapter 61 that would shift the responsibility for hearing sign variances and appeals to the Zoning Board of Appeals;
RESOLVED, That the Sign Board of Appeals is dissolved upon the effective date of the amendments to Chapter 61; and
RESOLVED, That the City Council recognizes and thanks the members of the Sign Board of Appeals for their service to the City of Ann Arbor.
