Resolution to Approve Changes to Bylaws of the Ann Arbor Cable Communications Commission
Memorandum
The Ann Arbor Cable Communications Commission recommends approval of the attached amended bylaws. The proposed amended bylaws were reorganized and revised with the assistance of the City Attorney's Office. These amended bylaws were approved by the Cable Communications Commission at its meeting of August 28, 2012. The changes have been reviewed by the City Attorney's Office, consistent with Council Resolution R-08-496.

Whereas, The Ann Arbor Cable Communications Commission desires to amend its bylaws to reorganize them and make them consistent with other city bylaws;
Whereas, City Council has passed a resolution directing the City Attorney to review the bylaws of City boards and commissions and revise them for consistency and uniformity to the extent practicable while meeting the requirements of individual boards and commissions;
Whereas, The City Attorney has reviewed the proposed amended bylaws in accordance with City Council's resolution;
Whereas, The Ann Arbor Cable Communications Commission approved the proposed amended bylaws at its meeting of August 28, 2012; and
Whereas, City Council has passed a resolution requiring all proposed amendments and bylaws of City boards and commissions to be approved by Council;
RESOLVED, That City Council approves the attached bylaws for the Ann Arbor Cable Communications Commission.
