Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept a grant of easement for pedestrian access at 2536 W. Liberty, Ann Arbor, Michigan from West Town Acquisition, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company.
The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.
Acceptance of the easement is recommended.

Whereas, West Town Acquisition, LLC, a Michigan limited liability company, is the owner in fee simple of property located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan, as described in the Washtenaw County Records at Liber 4898, page 113 recorded on April 2, 2012;
Whereas, a Resolution of the Sole Manager, dated May 23, 2012, authorized the grant of easement to the City of Ann Arbor for pedestrian access to encumber the property perpetually;
Whereas, West Town Acquisition, LLC has executed and delivered an easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw to the City for pedestrian access to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the E 1/4 Corner of Section 25, T2S, R5E, Scio Township (now City of Ann Arbor), Washtenaw County, Michigan, thence S 00°28'00" W 1639.20 feet along the East line of said Section 25 and the centerline of Maple Road (variable width); thence N 89°32'00" W 45.00 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING,
thence S 00°28'00" W 8.28 feet along the Westerly right-of-way line of said
Maple Road;
thence S 75°26'00" W 349.09 feet along the Northerly right-of-way line of Liberty Street (variable width);
thence N 14°34'00" W 8.00 feet;
