Memorandum
There is a resolution before you to accept an easement from the Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor, a public body corporate organized and existing under the Michigan Revised School Code, for the purpose of constructing and maintaining a water main on the Northside Elementary School property.

The terms and conditions of the grant of easement have been reviewed and approved by the Project Management Unit of the Public Services Area.

The easement is in standard form and conveyed without cost to the City.

Acceptance of the grant of easement is recommended.

Whereas, The Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor, a public body corporate organized and existing under the Michigan Revised School Code, is the owner in fee simple of real property located at 912 Barton Drive in the City of Ann Arbor, Washtenaw County, Michigan, commonly known as Northside Elementary School; and

Whereas, The Public Schools of the City of Ann Arbor has delivered a permanent water main easement for lands located in the City of Ann Arbor, County of Washtenaw to the City, to run with the land and burden the respective property perpetually, being more particularly described as follows:

40 FOOT WIDE EASEMENT FOR WATER MAIN

COMMENCING AT THE INTERSECTION OF THE CENTERLINE OF PEAR STREET (49½ FEET WIDE) AND THE CENTERLINE OF TAYLOR STREET (66 FEET WIDE) AND PROCEEDING THENCE NORTH 02°00’00” WEST 33.00 FEET TO THE NORTH LINE OF TAYLOR STREET; THENCE ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF TAYLOR STREET, NORTH 88°00’00” EAST 321.78 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE NORTH 42°10’25” EAST 142.42 FEET; THENCE NORTH 02°49’35” WEST 52.71 FEET; THENCE NORTH 87°10'25" EAST 40.00 FEET; THENCE ...
