Resolution In Recognition of Commissioner Michael Garfield for His Commitment to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission and Land Preservation Efforts in Washtenaw County
Memorandum
Whereas, Commissioner Michael Garfield has served on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission since its inception in 2004;
Whereas, Commissioner Michael Garfield served as the Chair for the first 3 years on the Commission, where he provided leadership in establishing the initial strategic direction and protocols for the Greenbelt;
Whereas, Michael Garfield has been a leader in the community and champion for land preservation efforts throughout Washtenaw County;
Resolved, That the Greenbelt Advisory Commission recognize Commissioner Michael Garfield for his tireless efforts, leadership and commitment to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission and land preservation efforts throughout Washtenaw County.
