Title

An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 55 (Zoning), Rezoning of 0.15 Acres from PUD (Planned Unit Development District) to R4C (Multiple Family District), 715-717 E Huron Street Rezoning, 715-717 E Huron Street (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 7 Yeas and 0 Nays) (ORD-26-03)

Memorandum

Approval of this resolution will rezone this 0.15 acre parcel from PUD to R4C to allow the building to be used for housing, which is prohibited under the site’s development agreement, which only allows office use. No new development is proposed. The site includes one building most recently used as office space.

The City Planning Commission determined that the proposed rezoning is consistent with the adjacent zoning, the surrounding land uses, and the City's Master Plan and recommended approval of the request at its meeting of December 16, 2025.
