Memorandum
Attached for your consideration is a request from Hearsay, Inc. for a new Micro Brewer, Small Wine Maker, Small Distiller Liquor License and Entertainment Permit and an On-Premise Tasting Room Permit to be located at 2350 W. Liberty Street. The applicant plans to run the establishment as a craft microbrewery with an improv performance theater, corporate training center, and event space with an on-site food truck. They plan to have seven employees and be open six days a week from approximately 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with live comedy shows 3-4 nights per week and offer improv classes to the public. The applicants plan to own and staff the food truck operation which will be fully integrated into the business and offer food on-site and to go.
The Police, Planning and Development, Treasurer and Fire Services approved the application. There are no delinquent property taxes, all application fees are paid and there are no objections from City Staff.
