Title

An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 55 (Zoning), Rezoning of 1.66 Acres from Ann Arbor Township designation (TWP District) to R1D (Single-Family District), 3474 E. Huron River Drive Rezoning (CPC Recommendation: Approval - 8 Yeas and 0 Nays) (ORD-24-25)

Memorandum

Approval of this resolution will rezone this 1.66-acre parcel from TWP to R1D to allow for the construction of a single-family home and connection to utilities.

This ordinance will zone this property R1D (Single-Family Dwelling District), now that the property has been officially annexed into the City.  The Secretary of State recently notified the City Clerk that this boundary change became effective on July 15, 2024.

The proposed zoning is consistent with the adjacent zoning, the surrounding land uses, and the City's Comprehensive Plan.  The City Planning Commission, at its meeting of April 16, 2024, recommended approval of the request.
