Resolution to Approve a Professional Services Agreement with Emergent Health Partners for Fire Dispatch Services and Appropriate Funding ($210,429.00) (8 Votes Required)
Memorandum
Emergent Health Partners (EHP) has provided the City with fire dispatch services since July 1, 2009. This services agreement is for EHP to provide fire department dispatching services for FY2027. The City continues to explore alternatives for dispatch service providers; however, there are no other viable options at this time.
EHP complies with the City's Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinances.
Budget/Fiscal Impact: This contract includes a 17% increase in cost which was not anticipated in the FY 2027 budget. It is being requested that the additional cost of the contract be appropriated to the Fire Department expenditure budget from the fund balance of the General Fund in the amount of $31,840.00.
