Whereas, The appointment of members of the Greenbelt Advisory Commission is a prerogative of the City Council;

Whereas, There is currently a vacancy on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission due to the resignation of Liz Rother;

Whereas, Stephanie Buttrey has expressed an interest in serving on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission and would accept an appointment to the Commission effective May 6, 2013;

Whereas, The Greenbelt Advisory Commission recommends the appointment of Stephanie Buttrey to the Commission; and

Whereas, Stephanie Buttrey was presented to City Council on April 15, 2013 for consideration for appointment to the Greenbelt Advisory Commission;

RESOLVED, That Stephanie Buttrey be appointed to fill the remainder of the vacated term of Liz Rother on the Greenbelt Advisory Commission, beginning May 6, 2013 and expiring June 30, 2014; and

RESOLVED, That the City Clerk notify Ms. Buttrey of this appointment.
