Resolution to Revise 2026 Council Calendar
Body
Whereas, The City Council Rules require the City Council to establish a calendar of City Council meetings and work sessions in advance of each calendar year;
Whereas, The Council Rules require that regular meetings of City Council be held on the first and third Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers with exceptions for major holidays and elections;
Whereas, The Council Administration Committee met on January 13, 2026, and agreed that there is a desire to cancel the February 9, 2026 Work Session.
RESOLVED, The 2026 City Council Calendar is revised and approved as follows:

January 20 (Tuesday due to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day)

February 19 (Thursday due to Presidents’ Day and Ramadan)
