Memorandum
Attached for your review and approval is a resolution to approve Amendment Number 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Baker and Associates for the 2024-2025 Bridge Inspection Program (RFP 24-35) in the amount of $31,311.49.

On August 19, 2024, City Council passed R-24-342, approving the professional services agreement with Baker and Associates in the amount of $124,178.47 to perform inspection services for the 2024-2025 Bridge Inspection Program. Amendment Number 1 includes several additional services, consisting of the following:
* Support for the Local Bridge Program Application to pursue funding for future bridge maintenance projects
* Additional inspection on the Bandemer Bridge to support existing nearby construction by the Parks Department
* Additional inspection costs for Eisenhower bridge

City Staff is recommending establishing a contingency of $5,000.00 for potential future contract amendments.

Baker complies with the requirements of the City's Conflict of Interest, Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinance.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: The services provided through this agreement will be paid from the Major Street Fund and Parks Maintenance & Capital Improvements Millage, as appropriate.
