Memorandum
Your approval is requested for Amendment No. 1 to the professional services agreement for general civil engineering services with Tetra Tech of Michigan, PC in the amount of $200,000.00. City Council approved a professional services agreement for $400,000.00 with Tetra Tech of Michigan, PC on July 6, 2023, as part of Resolution No. R-23-251.

The City issued Request for Proposal (RFP) #23-16 for professional engineering services to provide as needed engineering services when the demand or expertise needed exceeds City capacity. Under the current contract, Tetra Tech of Michigan, PC has provided engineering services for a variety of projects that have included environmental testing, debris management plan development, raw water line corrosion inspection and managing the televising and cleaning contracts for Public Works. Approval for additional funding is sought at this time to ensure there are contract dollars available for future tasks performed under this agreement.

Tetra Tech of Michigan, PC complies with the requirements of the City's Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinances.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding for these services are available in the approved FY25 Operating and Capital Budgets, and will be available in subsequent annual Operating and Capital Budgets if approved by City Council.
