As a result of ongoing construction, attached for your consideration and approval is a request to change the street closures to the following for the University of Michigan Big House 5K from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Sunday, April 12, 2026:
South State Street from Dewey Avenue to Monroe Street
Monroe Street from South State Street to Tappan Avenue
Tappan Avenue from Monroe Street to South University Avenue
South University Avenue from Tappan Avenue to Church Street
Church Street from South University Avenue to Geddes Avenue
Geddes Avenue from Church to Fletcher Street
Fletcher Street from Geddes Avenue to East Washington Street
East Washington Street from Fletcher Street to South Thayer Street
South Thayer Street from East Washington Street to North University Avenue
North University Avenue from South Thayer Street to South State Street
South State Street from North University Avenue to East Madison Street
East Madison Street from South State Street to South Division Street
South Division Street from East Madison Street to Hill Street
Hill Street from South Division Street to Greene Street
Greene Street from Hill Street to East Keech Avenue to finish inside Michigan Stadium
Notification will be made through the City's website, GovDelivery and University communications.
