Title
Resolution to Approve the Purchase of Heavy Equipment/Truck Tires and Tire Repair Services from Pomp's Tire Services LLC (MiDeal; Not To Exceed $100,000.00 Annually)
Memorandum
The attached resolution authorizes the purchase of heavy equipment/truck tires and tire repair services in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00 annually from Pomp's Tire Services LLC for FY26 and FY27, subject to the availability of funding in FY27.

Goodyear Tire was awarded contract #240000000329 under the State of Michigan MiDeal cooperative purchasing program. All authorized Goodyear tire dealers in Michigan that signed Dealer Agreements with the State of Michigan are approved vendors under the MiDeal Contract. Pomp's Tire Services LLC has met the State of Michigan requirements and is an authorized dealer under the contract.

The Fleet and Facilities Unit spends approximately $140,000.00 annually on heavy equipment/truck tires and tire repair services to maintain the City Fleet with multiple vendors. Pomp's is one of the vendors for tires and related services used by the City over for the last few years and we have been satisfied with their product and service.

Budget and Fiscal Impact: Adequate funding for the purchase of heavy equipment/truck tires and tire repair services has been budgeted in the approved FY26 Fleet Services Fund Operations and Maintenance budget. Issuance of the FY27 purchase order would be subject to the availability of funds.

Pomp's Tire Services LLC complies with the requirements of the City's Conflict of Interest and Non-Discrimination Ordinances.
