Resolution to Approve Revised Bylaws of the Planning Commission
Memorandum
The Planning Commission voted on July 7, 2026 to amend their bylaws. Changes were unanimously recommended for approval to City Council by the Commission. The minor change added a Commissioner Communications item to the standard agenda, which has been a successful practice of the Commission.
The bylaws have been reviewed by the City Attorney’s Office and comport with the standard bylaws format consistent with City Council Resolution R-08-496.

Whereas, The Planning Commission approved amendments to its bylaws on July 7, 2026; and
Whereas, City Council has passed a resolution requiring all proposed bylaws of City boards and commissions to be approved by City Council;
RESOLVED, That City Council approves the attached bylaws of the Planning Commission.
