An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 26 (Solid Waste Management) of Title II of the Code of the City of Ann Arbor (ORD-25-35)
Memorandum
Staff proposes the attached amendments to Chapter 26 (Solid Waste Management). The proposed amendments update and add new definitions; clarify collection services and frequency based on existing practices; update information on solid waste containers and points of collection; remove information addressed within the Solid Waste Regulations; and brings current outdated information throughout the chapter. An amended ordinance will necessitate updates to the Solid Waste Regulations to ensure uniformity of definitions.
