Title
Annual Progress Report on Implementation of the 2022 City of Ann Arbor Hazard Mitigation Plan
Memorandum
The City of Ann Arbor participates in a program within the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) called the Community Rating System (CRS) which rewards communities for exceeding the minimum NFIP floodplain standards with lower flood insurance rates. The City currently has a CRS rating of Class 6 resulting in a 20% discount to all NFIP policies within the City.
One of the many CRS requirements is to report annually on the progress of implementing the City’s Hazard Mitigation Plan. CRS requires an annual report to be submitted to the governing body, released to the media, and made available to the public.
Please see the attached 2023 Annual Progress Report on Implementation of the 2022 City of Ann Arbor Hazard Mitigation Plan.
