Title
Resolution to Amend a General Services Contract with Farmer & Underwood Trucking, LTD. for Aggregate Materials and Hauling Services for Excavation and Street Sweeping Waste, ($49,841.00 Increase, Total Contract Not to Exceed $399,841.00 Annually)
Memorandum
This memorandum and resolution requests approval to amend the General Services Agreement with Farmer & Underwood Trucking, LTD. for aggregate materials and hauling services for excavation and street sweeping waste.

On July 21, 2025, City Council approved a general services agreement with Farmer & Underwood Trucking, LTD. (R-25-273) not to exceed $350,000.00 annually. An increase is necessary to purchase additional aggregate materials to construct a service driveway for the Wheeler Service Center solar array construction project. The service driveway construction by Public Works staff will result in a significant cost savings to the overall project but requires a contract increase for the unplanned material purchase. The additional materials will cost $49,841.00 and are requested as an increase to year one (1) and year two (2) of the agreement due to the uncertainty of the commencement of construction.

Farmer & Underwood Trucking, LTD. complies with the City's Non-Discrimination and Living Wage ordinances.

Budget/Fiscal Impact: Funding for this work is available in the Office of Sustainability and Innovations Climate Action Millage Fund Budget.
